A Game of Dwarves is a dungeon management game, and is brutal in nature: not because of bloody wars – fighting is only a secondary concern – but because of the difficulty in balancing the needs of your Dwarves, making sure they’re all fed, happy and well-slept, while also making sure they’re working hard enough to expand your underground empire from cavern to colony. It takes patience and forethought, as a single oversight can be the start of an irreversible decline towards extinction.
